I heard this quartet perform live in recital in Santa Fe, NM and enjoyed their performance very much. The cd in question here was being sold at the concert for $20.00, so I went on-line and bought it for less. I am still disappointed in the price of this cd since its performance time is a mere 41'29 - far too short for a professional cd these days at such high prices. Obviously this is first and foremost the label's fault: Capriccio. Certainly there is another work in the Signum Quartet's repertory that could have been added to bring this cd's performance time to over an hour.
