Three kids (7, 10, and 14) fought over pin colors because the youngest wanted to use different color pins in her project and the box only contained the exact number of pins in exact colors for each project and did not allow for creativity. I bought two sets. Sadly, no one completed their project.The product was missing SEVERAL parts!! The yellow and white pegs are missing!! Also, there were no REAL instructions!! Anyone who was a beginner would be thoroughly confused ?.My 5 yr old is obsessed with flamingos and this was a fun art project for her to do. The box "frame" didn't exactly come together like the picture shown, but the project was fun.Great project for my 8 year old but she struggled with the frames because they had no directions. Definitely would be greatly improved with directions!Bought for my 8 year old. She is really into crafty projects. She loved it at first and then lost interest of it. My 6 year old tried doing it and enjoyed it if I could help her. My finger are to big to fit between the pegs, which frustrated me. Fun project just was not a hit for my kids.The product is very well designed and my daughter seems to love playing with it. It keeps her focused for long periods of time. My only qualm is it is a bit pricey for what you get since I'm guessing the materials can't cost more than a few dollars.I wanted this to be amazing. It is really cute. But there are no instructions. Not even a guide. So, now I have to help my child find instructions so she can use her Christmas gift.This string art kit was an extra bonus because it was super vibrant in color and had TWO activities. This bonus was special as this kit was split by two children thus making the investment easier to pay for!!
